Physical therapy graduate student Elizabeth Pooler has been selected to receive the inaugural Anne Marie Sirois Clinical Education Scholarship.

Liz, who is completing her physical therapy graduate year at the College's Rochester physical therapy facility, and who is a recipient of the UMDNJ physical therapy program, received a $500 award to offset her housing and travel expenses during her clinical education. The scholarship was established in 2006 by the New York New Jersey Clinical Education Consortia to recognize the ongoing work in clinical education for physical therapy that has been done over many years by Anne Marie Sirois. Anne Marie is an Ithaca College physical therapy graduate from the class of 1971.

There were many applicants from all Consortia member programs across New York and New Jersey. Each program reviewed applicants and sent one name to the selection committee, and Liz was selected from a very strong pool of candidates.
