At its recent annual meeting, the American Conference of Academic Deans (ACAD) elected a new board, including Humanities and Sciences Dean Howard Erlich as vice chair of the board. As vice chair, Erlich is responsible for ACAD’s program at the next annual meeting and he assumes the chairmanship of the ACAD board in one year.

The American Conference of Academic Deans represents over 600 academic administrators, principally provosts, deans, and associate/assistant deans. Its mission includes professional development efforts through an annual meeting, publications, a website, a listserv, and regional meetings and workshops.
