Please join us for the Tuesday, February 28 meeting of the Ithaca College Toastmasters Club, where one of our own will complete the requirements for her Competent Toastmaster Award.

Karin Wikoff will present her 10th speech on February 28 at 11:00 a.m. in Clark Lounge.

Upon the completion of 10 focused, five-to-seven-minute speeches, members earn the title of Competent Toastmaster (CTM). Karin began her journey to CTM on February 1, 2005, when she completed her first speech. As a result of completing her CTM within a two-year period, she will be reimbursed the cost of one year's membership dues by the Office of Human Resources as recognition of this professional accomplishment.

Karin will have the distinction of being the 10th CTM awarded in the Ithaca College Toastmasters Club. She joins fellow CTMs Ardie Bennett, Deb Emnett, Doreen Hettich-Atkins, Laurie Hultberg, Brian Martinson, Beth Rugg, Kris Slaght, Peg Termina, and Gladys Ward.

Our two most recent CTMs, Ardie Bennett and Laurie Hultberg from Longview, are pictured.

Guests are welcome at any Toastmasters meeting. We encourage you to come see what all the excitement is about! More information is available about Toastmasters at www.ithaca.edu/hr/toastmasters.
