The Office of Multicultural Affairs presents its second annual Mug to Mug: Erasing Borders Through Conversation on Thursday, March 16, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. in Clark, Klingenstein, and McDonald Lounges.

The Ithaca College community is invited to engage in informal discussions led by IC faculty on various topics of diversity. We'll start you off with coffee and desserts then let you choose which discussion you want to participate in. This year's presenters and topics are: Jeff Claus: "Funding and Other Inequalities in U.S. Education: Ways to Work for Change" Brooke Olson: "Ethnic Food and Cultural Diversity in Ithaca" Stephen Sweet: "Affirmative Action in Action" Stacia Zabusky: "Linguistic Diversity, Cultural Identity, and Social Boundaries" David Saiia: "Sustainability is Diversity in Action" Fred Wilcox: "Overcoming Class, Race, Gender, and Sexuality in Order to Wage a Nonviolent Revolution" Vera Whisman: "The World of the Other" We promise the coffee will be hot, the desserts will be tasty, and the conversation will be stimulating. We'll give a free "Mug to Mug" mug to the first 100 participants! Any questions, please contact Sue Chaffee, assistant director, Office of Multicultural Affairs, at 274-3654 or e-mail [mailto:schaffee@ithaca.edu].
