David Turkon, anthropology, was invited to speak at the SUNY Buffalo anthropology department on refugee issues.
On March 7, David Turkon, anthropology, gave an invited lecture, "Challenges to Involving Refugees in Capacity Building," for the anthropology department at SUNY Buffalo. The talk was co-sponsored by the Anthropology Graduate Student Association and the Undergraduate Anthropology Club at SUNY Buffalo. Professor Turkon is a noted expert on Sudanese refugees in the U.S.
