Paul Geisler, athletic training, presents a Scholarly Colloquium on Thursday, March 30, from 12:10 to 1:00 p.m. in the Clark Lounge of the Campus Center. The presentation and discussion draw from his forthcoming book, Higher Education at a Crossroads, which integrates curriculum theory and cultural studies with postmodern and poststructural theories. An electronic copy of the first chapter of the book is available on request from Susanne Morgan, at [mailto:morgan@ithaca.edu], and copies will be available at the Colloquium.
The following Colloquium features Elisabeth Nonas, cinema and photography, who reflects on writing screenplays and novels and on integrating writing and teaching. Entitled "My Double Life," the Scholarly Colloquium takes place on Tuesday, April 4, from 12:10 to 1:00 p.m. in the Clark Lounge.
All are welcome at Colloquia. Coffee, tea, and light dessert are provided, and you are welcome to bring your lunch if you wish. We know that schedules are tight, and you should come even if you are late.
