The I.C. Coordinating Team for the Ithaca College-EcoVillage at Ithaca Partnership for Sustainability solicits applications for curriculum development initiatives in the area of sustainability. $1,000 curriculum development mini-grants will support work conducted during the summer of 2006.
In the past, we have funded proposals to teach new courses, develop new components of existing courses, and revise existing courses to deal with issues relating to sustainability. For example, proposals have been funded for faculty in politics, therapeutic recreation and leisure services, writing, biology, physics, economics, and environmental studies. We especially encourage applications from the humanities, social sciences, health sciences, music, and communications.
I.C. community members are invited to submit proposals to Jason Hamilton, biology department, CNS 252. The deadline for submission of the grant proposal is Monday, April 17.
