TRLS Faculty Present at Therapeutic Recreation Conference.
Therapeutic Recreation and Leisure Services faculty presented recently at the New York State Therapeutic Recreation Association conference in Saratoga Springs. Janice Elich Monroe and alum Bethany Humphrey ('04) presented on "Free-Time Freedom: Therapeutic Recreation Strategies for Developing Independent Leisure Functioning," which was supported by a grant from the Gerontology Institute. Linda Heyne also delivered a presentation on "A Strengths-Based Approach to Therapeutic Recreation Practices."
