Career Services wishes to congratulate all of you who will be graduating this Spring or Summer, and of course, our December 2005 grads as well! As you begin life after Ithaca, we'd like to remind you that our services are available to you now and in the future!

As you probably already know, we have many services designed to assist you as you enter the professional world or pursue graduate study. You can find information about all of them on our web site at: https://www.ithaca.edu/careers, but here are a few highlights.

  • eRecruiting: eRecruiting has great job and internship opportunities for both recent college graduates and for those farther along in their career. You may continue to utilize eRecruiting without limit in order to access the more than 12,000 opportunities that can be found there each day.

To do so, simply visit http://ithaca.erecruiting.com. Your username is your full IC e-mail address and your password is your college ID number.

  • Alumni Online Community: The Online Community allows you to connect with other alumni of Ithaca College. It’s a great tool for staying in touch with friends, but it can also be useful for talking with others about their professional experiences. If you are not already registered, you can do so by visiting: https://www.ithaca.edu/alumni/ and clicking on the Online Community link. Before utilizing this community for networking purpose, please be sure that you have a complete understanding of how the Online Community works and how to network properly.

As an alumnus you are welcome to make an appointment in person or by phone with our professional staff for career counseling, a resume critique, or to simply ask us career related questions. The bottom line? Though you'll be far away, you still have a place to turn to for your career needs. Please don’t hesitate to contact us.

A final thought. As you get established in your professional career, we encourage you to give something back. This can be as simple as talking with a student who contacts you through the Online Community, or by helping to make job and internship opportunities at you organization available to the students that come after you. Whatever you are able to do, you can be sure that it will be appreciated.

We wish you all the best in the future and again, congratulations!
