The Ithaca softball team has been chosen to host a seven-team NCAA regional tournament. The Bombers (35-4) are seeded second in the double-elimination regional, which will be held Thursday through Sunday at Ithaca's Kostrinsky Field. Ithaca's first game will be Thursday, May 11, at 2:00 p.m. against seventh-seeded Penn-State Behrend (30-6).
The rest of the regional field features top-seeded Plattsburgh (37-7), third-seeded Rensselaer (34-4), fourth-seeded Elms (27-10), fifth-seeded Union (29-5) and sixth-seeded Western Connecticut (26-16).
Ticket prices are $5 for adults and $2 for senior citizens, students with ID and children under 12. No complimentary passes will be accepted.
