There's No Place Like Home...Unless It's Lunch With IC Hope!

IC Hope, Ithaca's very own Relay for Life team, invites you to join us for lunch and brainstorming on Wednesday, May 31 in the "Glass Room" in Cafe Square. Auntie Em is busy rounding up Relay donations and will not be available to make lunch, so please bring or buy your lunch and join us. The Relay will be here before we know it (July 14-15!), and the excitement is building faster than a winged monkey can fly!

Our biggest item on the agenda will be the upcoming IC Family Picnic (June 10th). IC Hope will be selling raffle tickets on a VIP Pass to the fireworks, a 50/50 raffle and gift baskets, and we have some fabulous ideas. We need team members to help staff our table and to help us spread the word about our awesome team. Where else can you raise money while you are getting fed and entertained for free?

Whether you are able to join the team or not, check out our incredibly cute IC Hope t-shirts designed by our very own Deb Mohlenhoff. Knowing that the rest of the campus could not possibly resist such fabulous shirts, we have ordered extras to sell. Our Relay gift baskets are already coming in, and are all in keeping with the Relay's "Wizard of Oz" theme. From "Picnic in the Poppy Fields" (delightful picnic items and games) to "Auntie Em's Home Cooking" (homemade goodies), we will have everything you need to make your summer pleasant. And don't worry, Toto, we didn't forget you...there will even be a "Totally Toto Doggie Basket"!

Sound like fun? You bet! Please consider joining our team, making a donation to support a team member, or supporting us with our fundraisers. You can honor the memory of a loved one or support someone going through cancer by buying one of our Suns & Moons (available for a suggested donation of $1 each) at the Bursar's Office or the Bookstore or by buying luminaria bags from team members (suggested donation $10). Stay tuned to Intercom for more announcements!

Thank you for helping us make a difference in our community!
