Please join me in welcoming John Rawlings, III and Nansalmaa Brown to the Office of Multicultural Affairs.
John will serve as the Acting Assistant Director in the Office of Multicultural Affairs. As such he will coordinate the Ithaca Achievement Program and will assist in the planning of our educational theme months. He joins us from Cornell University, where he graduated with his BS in Human Development. While there he assisted with programming and community building for ALANA students, students in the Prefreshman Summer Program and in the Ujamaa Residential College.
Nansalmaa will serve as the Administrative Assistant for the office. In addition to her previous work as an administrative assistant, Nansa has also worked as a translator, as an English, Russian, and Mongolian instructor, and as a cross cultural trainer for the Peace Corps.
