Mark Fonder and Elizabeth Peterson conduct a program entitled “A Borrower’s Banquet,” featuring music transcribed for band or inspired by other kinds of music. The Concert Band will feature a suite from “Candide” and Ron Nelson’s “Medieval Suite,” and the Symphonic Band will perform Shostakovich’s “Festive Overture,” plus music by Whitacre and Gorb.
