The goal of National Depression Screening day is to provide information to students and community members about the signs of depression and suicide, and to let people know where and how they can access help for themselves or a friend.
The Counseling Center will be providing anonymous depression screenings from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. on Thurs, Oct 5th. The screenings are part of an education initiative, and are mean to be informational, not diagnostic. The process takes about 15 - 20 minutes.
The Counseling Center is located in the lower level of the Hammond Health Center.

There will also be a NDSD information table in the North Foyer on Thurs from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
