The Early Bird Gets the Gourmet Meal!
Just a reminder that the United Way campaign is now under way. The focus this year is on poverty in Tompkins County. Your contribution will aid those in our community who need help with food and basic medicines. If you turn in your pledge card by October 31, you will be eligible for some terrific prizes including meals, gift certificates, and even a subscription to the 2006-07 Main Stage Theatre at IC. Last year, first time contributor Julie Chambers won a mouth watering dinner at the Boatyard Grill! Remember you can give a one time donation, or choose a payroll deduction. Even a $1.00 a paycheck will be put to good use and be greatly appreciated by those in need.
