Antonio DiRenzo, Associate Professor in Writing Department, Delivers Keynote Address at National Conference

Antonio DiRenzo delivered the keynote address, "And the Violent Bear It Away: Flannery
O'Connor and the Menace of Apocalyptic Terrorism," at a national
conference called Flannery O'Connor and the Age of Terror in Grand Rapids,
Michigan, October 5 to 7. The keynote detailed the history of violent
fundamentalist millenarian sects from the fourth century to the present.
