Andrei Guruianu’s first full-length collection of poetry, Days When I Saw
the Horizon Bleed, was published in September by New York-based FootHills
Publishing. The poems in the book range from recollections of his
childhood in Romania, life as a young immigrant to the United States and
his experiences living now as a writer in upstate New York. Guruianu is a
lecturer in the writing department. Guruianu is also a freelance writer and columnist for Binghamton’s Press &
Sun-Bulletin.
