Assistant Professor Tom Nicholson, Television-Radio, worked on the upcoming two-hour documentary "The Gold Rush." The show will air Monday, November 6 at 9 p.m. on PBS.
Nicholson served as an editorial consultant on research, script development, and editing for director Randall MacLowry. He also recorded background dialogue and sound effects for the project. The documentary covering the tumultuous California gold rush is narrated by Michael Murphy and includes interviews with writer Isabel Allende, Professor of Native American Studies Frank LaPena, and eleven historians including J.S. Holliday.
