Senior Class Gift Committee Announces Gift Project for the Class of 2007.

The Senior Class Gift Committee is proud to announce its project for the Class of 2007's gift campaign. After several months of surveys and voting the class has chosen to raise money to name a space in the new Athletics and Events Center.

Our goals include 400 senior donors and a gift of $57,000. The A&E Center is one of the priorities in the College’s largest –ever comprehensive fund raising campaign “Ithaca College, Making a World of Difference”, and we are excited to be a part of this historic event. All gifts made to our project will be matched dollar for dollar by a $4 million challenge grant the College secured earlier this year. If we raise at least $50,000, we will put our name on a space in the A&E Center!! In addition, the Ithaca College Alumni Association Board of Directors has once again offered a match of $100 for every 20 senior donors, up to $2,007.

All seniors will soon receive a letter from the gift committee explaining the importance of giving and how you can select where your gift will go. There are many ways to make your gift including an exciting installment plan of “7 x 7”, in which you can give $7 for 7 months by credit card. OR – you can make a difference RIGHT NOW by clicking on the link below and going to the College’s secure, on-line giving site.

https://www.ithaca.edu/iconnect/giving/givingback_option_screen.php Click on the “Give now to the Campaign for Ithaca College.” If you are reading this message, and are not a member of the Class of 2007, but would like to make an on-line gift to their campaign, be sure to indicate this in the “in honor or memory of” field on the giving page.

Be sure to stop by the gift committee and senior class tables in the upcoming weeks for more information. We will also be at the senior class events and will host fundraising events in the near future! As always, you can contact the gift committee co-chairs Katie Cooper at kcooper2@ithaca.edu and Heather Luboff at hluboff1@ithaca.edu if you have any questions.
