On Thursday, November 9 at 7:00p.m. in the Park Auditorium, IC will have a free screening of the critically-acclaimed and award-winning documentary "The Hip Hop Project". The documentary was an official selection of the 2006 Tribeca Film Festival, and the 2006 Silverdocs Discovery Channel Film Festival as well as other prominent festivals around the world.

“The Hip Hop Project” tells the story of Chris “Kazi” Rolle, a formerly homeless teenager who inspires a group of New York City teens to transform their life stories into works of art, using hip hop as a vehicle for self-development and personal discovery.

Following the screening there will be a Q&A with “Kazi”, co-producer and star of the film, as well as other cast members.
