TIPS FOR QUITTING
Getting ready for quit day:
1.Pick the date and mark it on your calendar.
2.Tell friends and family the date you have chosen.
3.Stock up on sugarless gum, carrot sticks, and hard candy.
4.Set up a support system.
Getting through the quit day:
1.Get rid of all cigarettes, lighters, and ashtrays.
2.Stay active- try walking, exercising, or doing other activities.
3.Drink lots of water and juice.
4.Reward yourself.
