Optical Scanning Procedures During Finals Week

Special optical scanning procedures and schedules are in place for Final Exam Week through January 1st.

From Monday Dec. 18th through Friday Dec 22nd, optical scanning runs will be done from the ITS Main office to Computer Operations, EVERY HOUR between 8 am and 4 pm. Please allow for a three-hour turnaround time on your requests. To ensure this rapid turn around time, the ITS Office Assistants have been instructed to double-check all test header sheets. Please be patient while they do this.

The LAST scanning run to Computer Operations will be at 4:45 pm on Friday, Dec 22nd.

Between 4:45 PM and Midnight Friday Dec. 22nd:

All exams not picked up from the ITS main office by 4:45 p.m. will be taken to Computer Operations.
Professors must call Computer Operations at 274-3406 to make arrangements to bring/pick up the optical scanning request to/from Computer Operations in Job Hall.
All exams must be dropped off at Computer Operations by 11:00 pm to ensure processing.

Saturday Dec 23rd through Monday Jan 1st:

All exams NOT picked up by midnight, Friday, Dec 22nd, will be taken to Public Safety.
Only professors will be able to pick up exams, not TAs or Office Assistants.

All exams that have NOT been picked up from Public Safety will be brought back to the ITS Main Office on Tuesday, January 2, 2007.
