For the third year, Ithaca College will be participating in the national recycling contest RecycleMania! This year the contest will be running from January 28, 2007 to April 7, 2007, and for those 10 weeks we will be measuring our recycling and waste to see how we measure up against recycling programs for colleges and universities across the country.
The past two years we have come in 1st in New York State in the RecycleMania contest, but this year the competition will be even tougher with rivals such as Bard College, Binghamton University, Buffalo State College, Daemen College, Hamilton College, Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory of Columbia University, Roberts Wesleyan College, Stony Brook University, SUNY New Paltz, University at Albany, and University of Rochester. With all this new competition, it is really important to keep our recycling high!

You can also visit the RecycleMania information table in the Campus Center every Monday during the contest from 9am-3pm to keep with our scores and the rules of the contest.
