The Center for Faculty Excellence and the Faculty Development Committee invite you to the first of three important events.

On Tuesday, February 6, from 12:05-1:00 in the Klingenstein Lounge of the Campus Center, this event presents the Latin American Studies Scholars Working Group in a lively and engaging panel.

Panelists are Alicia Swords, Sociology; Annette Levine, Modern Languages and Literatures; and Jonathan Ablard, History. The respondent is Jennifer Jolly, Art History.

Colloquia are an ideal opportunity to support your colleagues, learn something interesting, and eat your lunch away from your desk, as beverage and treats will be provided. They are open to all, even if you need to arrive late or leave early. Coffee, fruit or vegetables, and cookies are provided; bring your lunch if you wish.

The other Colloquia for the semester include:

"Finding the Right Balance: Combining Scholarship with Teaching at Ithaca College" on Thursday, March 1, 12:05-1:00, Klingenstein Lounge, Campus Center. Please note change of date from that previously announced.

Presenting the Scholars in the Humanities Working Group with panelists: Vivian Bruce Conger, History; Maria DiFrancesco, Modern Languages and Literatures; Jason Freitag, History; Katharine Kittredge, English

"Work in Progress in the Ithaca College Medieval and Renaissance Studies Colloquium" on Tuesday, April 10, 12:05-1:00, Clark Lounge, Campus Center
