I want to thank the many members of the IC community who volunteered to serve on this committee; it was wonderful to have such support for the important work that lies ahead.

Dr. John Krout has agreed to serve as chair of the search committee.
Committee membership represents an excellent cross section of the college community in terms of schools and administrative departments, as well as individuals with many years of service to IC and those who joined IC within the last 10 years. The Faculty Council played an important role in soliciting faculty interest, and I appreciate the work that Gossa Tsegaye and his colleagues did to generate such interest.
I recognize the important and hard work that lies ahead, and thank the committee members for their willingness to serve Ithaca College in this important capacity.
