Patricia R. Zimmermann, professor of cinema, photography, and media arts, was invited to deliver the closing lecture at a special symposium at Yale University entitled, "War, Documentary, and Iraq," February 2-4, 2007.
"War, Documentary, and Iraq" included distinguished filmmakers, artists, and scholars who have produced critical feature films, experimental works, and writing on the media representation of the war in Iraq.
The symposium was sponsored by the Poynter Institute and the Whitney Humanities Center at Yale University.
Zimmermann's address was entitled, "Public Domains: Engaging Iraq through Experimental Digitalities."
