IC Habitat for Humanity invites you to sign up for a groundbreaking spring break experience – “Advocacy in Albany”.

From March 10th through 17th, students will frame a house on the Capitol Lawn in Albany, while also getting experience in advocating for affordable housing. The week will include visits with New York legislators, plenty of construction work, and education sessions such as “Affordable Housing Issues in New York State: The Creation of a Housing Trust Fund”.

No prior Habitat experience is required! There are only 15 spots left, so sign up via Ainsley – Asmith8@ithaca.edu or at Habitat’s general body meetings: Sundays at 4pm in the North Meeting Room. Cost for the week is $80 which includes all food, transportation, and accommodations.
