Having just received a nice juicy donation from the cast of Criminal Minds (a fully signed script from the cast and an 8x10 color cast photo), we asked Special Agent Jason Gideon how he would profile a bidder at our auction. This is what he said...

"The person is of extreme intelligence and can easily surmise the appropriate worth of any particular item. Possessing above average compassion, the person, realizing the necessity of contributing to good causes, will not think twice about paying well above what an item is worth in order to support the cause. This is the kind of person who would help a friend shovel a car out of snow, feed a biscuit to a puppy, or bring flowers to the bursar's office. The person is loyal to both the College and to the College's mission of community service. Above all, the person has the highest possible sense of humor, as Sam and Duane's jokes are most appealing and hilarious....so much so that the person willingly parts with his money for a good cause. This person is a true blue superstar!"

Thank you, Gideon! If you fit this profile or would like to see who on campus does fit the profile, we invite you to the 5th annual Bursar's Benefit Auction. Held Wednesday, March 28th, the auction will be held in the Clark Lounge. Silent auction bidding begins in the morning and ends at 12 noon. The live auction will go from 12:30 - 1:30 pm, with 100% of the proceeds going to Longivew Community and FoodNet. Stay tuned to Intercom for your most up to date information, and the ever so tempting itmes to be auctioned!
