Music from across the globe and the centuries will be presented in a free concert by the Ithaca College Chorus on Tuesday, February 27 at 8:15 p.m. in Ford Hall. Janet Galván leads the performance, and Baruch Whitehead will guest conduct.
The program ranges from a selection from Haydn’s “Creation” and music of Núñez and John Tavener to “Sesere eeye,” traditional music of the Torres Strait Islands. A new work by Jim Papoulis, “I Will Look to the Hills” by Glenn Burleigh and “Saman el Salaam” arranged by Baruch Whitehead complete the international program.
