Views and more views! The Tower Club restaurant and the Ithaca College Department of Theatre Arts collaborate to present an evening of fine dining and entertainment on Friday, March 30.

Audiences are invited to dine in the newly remodeled Tower Club restaurant, located on the 14th floor of the East Tower on the Ithaca College campus, followed by a night of spectacular drama with "36 Views," written by one of the most exciting playwrights working in the United States today, Naomi Iizuka.

This package includes a delicious, buffet style dinner and tickets to the 8:00pm performance of "36 Views." At $35.00 per person all inclusive (with the exception of alcoholic beverages), this package promises to be an experience above all the rest.

"36 Views" uses the rich textures of traditional Japanese culture, theater, and art to create the backdrop as characters attempt to grasp the nature of beauty and authenticity. When a rare artifact emerges on the scene, art dealers, restorationists, academics, and artists search for its value and in the process alter the courses of one another’s lives.

Director Norm Johnson said, "Naomi Iizuka had imagined a play which was more evocative on an image level than on a textual level. She created a script which is as full of theatrical images as it is full of text, both poetical and literal. This script invited the chance to experiment with the possibilities of fusing eastern-inspired training methods and theatrical aesthetics with my own eclectic background."

To make your reservation, please call the Tower Club restaurant at (607) 274-3393. Space is limited, so please call soon. For information about Ithaca College theater, please call (607) 274-3224.
