Robert Westley, the Black History Month speaker, was scheduled to talk about the relationship between reparations, the Katrina Debacle and CRT at Ithaca College for Tuesday, February 26, but was postponed because of weather-related travel difficulties. Now he’ll be coming to the Campus and giving that talk on Friday, April 13. Free and open to the public, the event will begin at 4 PM in Textor 101.
Professor Westley is going to have lunch with faculty and staff members on the same day, from noon to 1:30 PM in Emerson B. He will also be available for class talk.
Please let us know if you can join Professor Westley for lunch or invite him to your class. RSVP to Nansa Brown, administrative assistant for OMA, at [mailto:nbrown@ithaca.edu] by Friday, March 30, 2007.
We look forward to your participation in the upcoming events. Don’t forget to RSVP for lunch and the class talk.
