FLEFF Opening Night and World Premiere: Memescapes

The 2007 Finger Lakes Environmental Film Festival presents the world premiere of Memescapes to celebrate the festival's opening night. Memescapes is Monday, March 26, 8:00 p.m. in Park Auditorium, and is free and open to the public.

Memescapes, a special commission for FLEFF 2007, is a multimedia and live original music performance. It explores and reimagines this year's programming streams: Metropoli, Soundscaping, Panic Attacks, and Maps and Memes.

Original live music score composed and performed by Judy Hyman, Jeff Claus ,Robby Aceto, Rick Hansen, Jay Olsa and Robbie Aceto.

Spoken word performed by Cynthia Henderson.

A collaborative partnership with the Human Studies Film Archives, Smithsonian Institution.

There will be a reception to follow.
