The Ithaca College chapter of the American Advertising Federation is proud to announce the launch of their newly redesigned website! Their website, which can be viewed at https://www.ithaca.edu/aaf, was launched recently by sophomore IMC student and member Peter Pasco. He says the new design and layout is a better reflection of our Ithaca AAF and will be utilized as a more resourceful site. The new design includes features such as a blog-like home page, a portfolio of the chapter's past work, and a page of links to some of the top advertising agencies in the world and other great resources.

Also, check out AAF's display case in Park to see their work from the Foodnet/Meals on Wheels campaign.

Ithaca College's Chapter of the American Advertising Federation is a student chapter of the national trade organization for the advertising industry. Every year, the chapter travels to New York City to attend the Advertising Women of New York (AWNY) Advertising conference where students can meet some of the industry's top people as well as attend workshops focused on the different aspects and concentrations within advertising. Ithaca's AAF chapter also works as a pro bono advertising agency for local clients. They recently wrapped up a campaign to raise awareness for Foodnet/Meals on Wheels, a local nonprofit organization. They took an integrated approach by using television, radio, transit and billboards as media vehicles to reach their target audience. Members of AAF are currently working on the Yellow Pages Creative Competition which awards the winner a $2,500 prize and national recognition.

AAF meets every Wednesday night at 7 pm in Park 285 and is advised by professor Scott Hamula.
