As members of the Ithaca College faculty and staff, we all have a vested interest in keeping the College strong. Ithaca College recently passed a major milestone in the largest comprehensive campaign in its history, having raised a total $100.6 million toward the $115 million campaign goal. (This includes a $4 million challenge grant for the athletics and events center, meaning that we must raise an additional $4 million to receive the funds.) But with the campaign scheduled to run through the rest of this calendar year, we still have a long way to go.
Bringing in the final $15 million over eight months will be a significant challenge for our institution.
You can make a world of difference with a relatively small deduction from each paycheck. As little as $42 per paycheck for a year can qualify you for the highest level of annual giving (though, of course, a gift of any size is appreciated). Simply fill out a Faculty and Staff Pledge Form, and send it through intracampus mail to Anita Costa in the Office of the Ithaca Fund. You can designate your gift for any of the campaign priorities, including the Faculty/Staff Endowed Scholarship announced at the faculty/staff campaign kickoff on February 27.
