Psychology professor Carla Golden presented a paper at the annual Association for Women in Psychology conference in San Francisco.
Her presentation, Teaching in a Time of War: What's the "Best" College Teachers Can Do?, examined the question of what it means to teach students, as contrasted with what it means to teach psychology. She discussed teaching within the framework of Ken Bain's study, "What the Best College Teachers Do." It raised the question of how important it is to teach psychology in times of war.
