Nation's Leading Expert on Women's Sports Coming to Campus

On Friday, April 20, 2007, Donna Lopiano, CEO of the Women’s Sports Foundation, will speak on the future of women in the sport industry at 4:00 p.m. in Textor Hall 101 on the Ithaca College campus.

Lopiano is regarded as one of the most powerful and influential voices in the United States, shaping opinions about girls and women in sport and advocating on behalf of girls and women not just in the United States but around the world. The focus of the foundation's work is on empowering girls and women through mentorship, leadership, and engagement -- not just in sport but in their communities as well. Ithaca College graduate Tuti Scott, chief external affairs officer for the Women’s Sports Foundation, is also scheduled to speak about strategic career planning for women aspiring to pursue careers in the sport industry.

This program is free and open to the public.
