In an effort to ensure that each eligible employee understands each Medical plan option, knows what tools and other resources are available and has access to a representative for individual claim consultations, the Benefits Department has scheduled dates for individual appointments and group informational sessions with Aetna Representatives.

Health Plan Benefits are an important part of the compensation package that you receive as an employee of Ithaca College. As you know, the College is offering two Aetna medical plan options for 2007. Aetna Representatives will be on campus in April and May to address specific questions or concerns you have about your personal Aetna Medical Plan benefits and/or Flexible Spending Account benefits. You may schedule 15-30 minute appointments to meet with the Aetna Representative on the following dates:

April 12th 10:00am-2:00pm Administration Annex
April 18th 11:00am-2:30pm Administration Annex
April 23rd 1:30pm-5:00pm Administration Annex
April 27th 8:30am-11:00am Administration Annex
May 2nd 8:30am-11:00am Administration Annex

Please contact Human Resources at 274-3245 to schedule your appointments or email us at benefits@ithaca.edu.

In addition to the individual consultations, Aetna will hold short group presentations regarding plan design followed by Q&A sessions.

Specific details of the new plans will be presented at the sessions, as well as information regarding the online decision making tools offered on the Aetna website. There will be ample opportunity for questions and answers after each presentation.

April 17th 8:00am-10:00am Klingenstein Lounge, Campus Center

April 18th 1:00pm-2:30pm Klingenstein Lounge, Campus Center
