The Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is hosting the second annual Mark Alderman remembrance activity on April 29, 2007.
For those of you who don’t know, Mark Alderman was an Athletic Trainer at IC, an active community and church member, a husband, and a father, who passed away suddenly last spring. Last year SAAC hosted “March for Mark”, a fundraising walk on the upper fields to raise money for his family and the Mark Alderman Foundation. This year, “Mark Madness” will also raise money for the foundation, but in a new way. SAAC is creating a School-Wide Round Robin Style Kickball Tournament to help remember a great man in a fun way. Teams are to be between 10 and 12 people, with an entry fee of $20 per team. The time and place are yet to be decided, but the tournament will take place on April 29th. Food and refreshments will be served.
