Fulbright program awards range from study or research projects in countries across the globe, to teaching English and American literature to high school students in any of a wide range of countries. The deadline for applications for 2008-2009 awards is September 30, 2007. Information on the various awards and application materials can be found at www.fulbrightonline.org. Students interested in participating in a program of study abroad the year after graduation should see our faculty Fulbright contact, Prof. Sternstein, (x1494, 401 Williams) before leaving campus this semester. He will answer questions, explain more about the program, talk about how to write a competitive application, explain what needs to be done over the summer with regard to the application, etc.
