As a reminder, tickets for the 2nd annual Empty Bowls program are on sale in the Textor Lobby from 11am to 1pm Thursday or at the door to the event on Friday. The event is being held from 12-2pm in the Emerson Suites as part of the Celebration of Service. Tickets are $10 for lunch only or $20 for lunch and a handmade ceramic bowl of your choice.
The Evan D. Williams Band will be performing throughout the luncheon and a special video produced by the first-year leadership scholars that takes a look at Poverty from the college student perspective will be shown.
Lunch will consist of soups, breads, salads, and a special dessert donated by the Culinary Arts Club. Lunch itself is being donated by Sodexho-Dining Services.
