United Way of Montgomery, Radford & Floyd (UWMRF) established the United in Caring Fund for Victims of the Virginia Tech Tragedy. This fund will provide assistance for funeral expenses, transportation for family members, and mental health services support, to name a few specific examples.
Those wishing to donate to the fund can make contributions by mailing gifts to UWMRF, PO BOX 6202, Christiansburg, VA 24068. Those sending payments via mail please clearly indicate that they wish their donation to go specifically to the United in Caring Fund for Victims of the VA Tech Tragedy.
No administrative fees will be charged to individual donors contributing to the fund.
