Optical Scanning Procedures During Finals Week

Special optical scanning procedures and schedules are in place for Final Exam Week Monday May 7th through Friday May 11th, 2007.

From Monday May 7th through Friday May 11th, optical scanning runs will be done from the ITS Main office to Computer Operations, EVERY HOUR between 8 am and 4 pm. Please allow for a three-hour turn around time on your requests. To ensure this rapid turn around time, the ITS Office Assistants have been instructed to double-check all test header sheets. Please be patient while they do this.

To expedite getting test scores returned to professors for posting, Computer Operations will email all results. Professors: please include your Ithaca College email address in your request.

The LAST scanning run to Computer Operations will be at 4:45 pm on Friday, May 11th.

Between 4:45 PM and Midnight Friday May 11th

    * Professors must call Computer Operations at 274-3406 to make arrangements to bring/pick up the optical scanning request to/from Computer Operations in Job Hall.
    * All exams must be dropped off at Computer Operations by 11:00 pm to ensure processing.
    * All exams NOT picked up by midnight, Friday, May 11th, can be picked up from 102 Muller Center on Monday May 14th
    * Only professors will be able to pick up exams, not TAs or Office Assistants.
