Any chance you’ll be in Baltimore August 11? If so, please join a contingent of IC alumni, parents, and friends for an afternoon of fun, food, and America’s favorite pastime.
We’ll start with a ballpark meal at the Sports Legends museum: hot dogs, hamburgers, beer -- and peanuts, of course. On hand to talk about the new IC athletics and events center will be vice president for student affairs and campus life Brian McAree, baseball coach George Valesente ’66, M.S. ’75, track and field coach Jennifer Potter ’93, and former student-athlete and academic all-American Kristin Muenzen ’00.
You’ll also have a chance to explore the spectacular Sports Legends museum. (And if you’re eager to learn about the life and times of the Sultan of Swat, meet us at Sports Legends at 1:00 p.m. for a short walk to the Babe Ruth Birthplace and Museum.) At 3:55 p.m. we’ll be in Oriole Park to watch the Baltimore Orioles take on the Boston Red Sox.
