Janice Elich Monroe coauthored an article with Cris Meneses, a 1999 Ithaca College therapeutic recreation graduate. The article, "Health Inequities in Long-Term Care: Through the Eyes of the Consumer," appears in the summer 2007 edition of the American Journal of Recreational Therapy (vol. 6, no. 3).
Meneses is currently a third-year law student at the University of Maryland School of Law in Baltimore. This article is the result of a long-term mentoring relationship, which has included regional presentations and workshops.
