The Experiential Learning Committee of the School of Humanities and Sciences invites interested faculty and staff to join H&S faculty members in a series of discussions about teaching courses with experiential learning components. The first panel takes place on Thursday, September 27, in McDonald Lounge, from 12:10 to 1:00 p.m.
At this panel, Prof. Susan Allen-Gil (Biology), Prof. Jack Rossen (Anthropology), and Prof. Alicia Swords (Sociology) will share their thoughts about Field Education courses they have provided for students in off-campus settings.
The panel kicks off a four-panel series, "Experiential Learning -- It's Worth Talking About," at which faculty colleagues will talk about different models of experiential learning that they have offered students here at IC. Light refreshments will be served; please feel free to bring your bag lunch along.
The series is organized by the H&S Experiential Learning Committee (https://www.ithaca.edu/hs/resources/explrng/) and the Center for Faculty Excellence (https://www.ithaca.edu/cfe/).
