Darius J. Conger, assistant professor of economics, was this summer one of 35 economists nationwide selected to participate in the Teaching Innovations Program, jointly sponsored by the National Science Foundation and the American Economic Association and held at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Seminar participants considered and developed strategies for teaching economic concepts using active learning techniques such as case studies, context-rich problems, cooperative learning, and games.
