An exhibition celebrating Murray and Dorothy Handwerker's 30 years of philanthropy is on display in the rotunda of the Handwerker Gallery.

The Handwerkers are passionate collectors of American and European art and have been sharing their inspiration with Ithaca College since 1977, when they donated the initial funds for what would become the Handwerker Gallery.

The Handwerkers believe that the gallery is and should continue to be an important resource for Ithaca College, as evidenced by the generosity of their continued funding of the professional exhibition and laboratory space that exists in the Gannett Center today.

The current exhibition features American and Israeli prints and paintings from their most recent gift to the gallery.

All Handwerker Gallery events are free and open to the public. For further information contact Cheryl Kramer, Handwerker Gallery director, at 274-3548 or ckramer@ithaca.edu.
