Baritone Randie Blooding will present a free recital on Thursday, November 1, at 8:15 p.m. in the Hockett Family Recital Hall at Ithaca College. The program is devoted to music of American composers, including Ives, Rorem, Fine, Ward, and Kander.
Blooding, an associate professor of music performance, has performed with many opera companies nationwide, including companies in Columbus, Dallas, Fort Worth, Nashville, the Bronx, Virginia, Pittsburgh, Palm Springs, Colorado, and Ithaca. Among Blooding's oratorio credits is his recording of the Ralph Vaughan Williams' "Sea Symphony" with the Atlanta Civic Chorus. He has performed more than 200 recitals in 35 states and Canada.
