This course is a three-credit elective open to students in all majors in the spring semester.

The Cancer Experience (OTBS 21000) is a three-credit course offered through the Department of Occupational Therapy. Students from all majors and schools are welcome, especially those who have been personally affected by cancer.

It will meet on Mondays from 4:30 to 7:10 p.m. The professor, Bob Riter, is associate director of the Cancer Resource Center of the Finger Lakes and himself a cancer survivor.

The topic will be approached from a variety of perspectives: those of the patient, survivor, family member, health professional, researcher, funder, and more. Guest speakers and field trips will be an integral part of the course.

For more information, contact Professor Riter ([mailto:bob@ibca.net]).
