Ganondagan's Young Spirit Dancers

Ganondagan’s Young Spirit Dancers will share their culture and lead an interactive evening of social dances from the Pueblos, the Plains, the Haudenosaunee, and more!

Formed in 1995 as a way to teach about their culture and traditions, the group has traveled around the U.S. They had the privilege of performing for First Lady Hillary Rodman Clinton in 1998. Members of the group are Mohawk, Seneca, Cayuga, Zuni, Navajo, Innupiat, and other Native Nations.

The audience will be encouraged to participate and join in for the many dances, which will include Alligator Dance, Round Dance, Stomp Dance, Smoke Dance and Shaking the Bush Dance.
